Refresher Course on HKAR-66 Licence Category B1.1 Module 5 – Digital Techniques Electronic Instrument Systems

This course is co-organised by HKIAA and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. This eight- day course (with a total of 30 hours) provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to sit for the HKAR-66 B1.1 Module 5 Digital Techniques Electronic Instrument Systems examination. The course will review the selected topics on M5 and its sample questions, and discuss the best practices and techniques in tackling multiple choice and in answering essay questions.

  • Logic circuits and integrated circuits
  • Microprocessors
  • Electrostatic sensitive devices
  • Software management control

MATF-approved Programme

Eligible applicants may apply for refund of 80% of fees after completing this approved course, subject to a maximum of HKD30,000, under the Professional Training and Examination Refund Scheme (ProTERS) of the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF). For details, please refer to www.matf.gov.hk

Remarks

  • Participants shall hold a Diploma or above, with a minimum of two years of relevant working experience 
  • This course is delivered face-to-face. Progress tests are employed to review the progress of learning. An 80% attendance rate is required
